The Name

The Major Stokes Blend is a speciality coffee created to mark a powerful collaboration. It is named in honour of Major Donald Robert Stokes, a Second World War officer who was killed in action in 1944. He was also the great-uncle of the current Managing Director of Stokes Tea & Coffee. His story is one of courage, sacrifice, and quiet dignity. By naming the blend after him, the company is keeping his memory alive and honouring the heritage based on service within the company.

The Contribution

But this partnership is not simply a tribute in name to Major Stokes. With every purchase of this superior blend of Major Stokes Blend, a direct contribution is made to Save A Warrior UK, a community interest company that offers life-saving support to veterans and emergency service personnel suffering with C-PTSD and trauma.
